“The world needs more Santas” Coca‑Cola launches 2025 Christmas Caravan in Kenya, a nationwide campaign to celebrate acts of kindness and human connection

Nairobi, Kenya – November 22, 2025 – The iconic Coca‑Cola Christmas Caravan is back. Coca‑Cola is officially kicking off the 2025 festive season in Kenya with an exciting celebration of kindness, connection, and uplifting moments for everyone. Driven by the inspiring global theme, “The World Needs More Santas,” the campaign seeks to inspire Kenyans to spread goodwill and inspire connection through small, meaningful acts of kindness this holiday season.

The festivities began with a vibrant, Christmas-themed Street party here in Nairobi. Local performers, thousands of delighted consumers, and key stakeholders joined in an evening of music, dance, and shared holiday happiness. The highlight of the evening was the official flag-off of the Coca‑Cola Christmas Caravan and the iconic Christmas tree lighting ceremony in front of the Iconic Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC). This symbolic moment officially ushered in a holiday season full of togetherness, generosity, and joy for millions of Kenyans.

Following this launch, the Coca‑Cola Christmas Caravan will embark on a journey through Nairobi and across more than 30 counties in Kenya. The Caravan will engage with Kenyans at mall activations, community visits, music, and magical experiences, the Caravan will showcase the everyday “Santas” in Kenyan communities, those who continuously embody kindness, selflessness, and the spirit of giving.

“This holiday season, Coca‑Cola is celebrating the real-life Santas among us,” said Monique Katana, Director of Frontline Marketing at Coca‑Cola East and Central Africa. “Through the Caravan and local events, we hope to remind Kenyans that a small act of kindness can make a big difference. The holidays are for pausing, reconnecting, and savoring heartfelt moments with the people and traditions we cherish most.”

This year’s caravan spotlights the warmth and generosity of Kenyan culture, providing immersive cultural experiences complemented by thoughtful giveaways of treasured local staples and essential goods (including soda, goats, chickens, fish, and chapati flour). Running through November and December, the initiative will weave through local malls, markets, and neighborhoods, transforming the holiday hustle into magical moments of laughter, connection, and joy.

A centerpiece of this year’s global campaign is the reimagined “Holidays Are Coming” film. Powered by cutting-edge generative AI developed in partnership with Silverside AI, this film is a fusion of nostalgic warmth and modern innovation. Featuring beloved Coca‑Cola icons like the Caravan Tour, the film underscores Coca‑Cola’s enduring legacy of holiday magic while embracing the future of storytelling.

“For decades, Coca‑Cola has been a beacon of holiday magic around the world,” said Islam ElDessouky, Global Vice President of Creative Strategy & Content at Coca‑Cola. “This year, we’re continuing that legacy by uniting innovation and human connection, celebrating communities, and reminding the world that the real magic comes from kindness and togetherness.”

Kenyan consumers are invited to spread holiday cheer by sharing their personal Santa moments through Coca‑Cola’s interactive platforms. Whether it’s a small gesture, shared laughter, or a simple act of care, Coca‑Cola encourages everyone to join the movement and spread joy and kindness in this festive season.
